Oracle Database Analyst II
Nallas Corporation in Newtown, PA is seeking experienced Oracle Database Analysts (II). Individuals will use standard occupational tools and apply advanced knowledge of Computer Science and Engineering principles to analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Individuals will be responsible for the following:
- Evaluate business requirements and prepare detailed specifications that follow project guidelines required to develop written programs.
- Apply knowledge of database theory and design to formulate, define, and document the functional system specifications.
- Devise or modify procedures that solve complex business problems with due consideration for hardware/software capacity and limitations, operating times and the desired results.
- Analyze and revise existing functional documentation based on revisions to software.
- Create logical data models using object oriented analysis and design concepts and data modeling tools such as Embarcadero or Erwin.
- Write SQL queries and develop Oracle PL/SQL programs, and SQL server t-SQL programs.
- Implement relational database technologies and client-server concepts.
The foregoing duties involve supervision of projects only, not personnel.
Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, or any related IT major that provided the required knowledge and abilities, plus at least one (1) year of related experience that provided the required skills and abilities.
Individual must have demonstrated proficiency and experience with: Web PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Database, Java, JSP, Servlet Sybase, SQL Server, Cognizant 2.0 project planner, Microsoft Project Planning, Visio
Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with stated academic level and job experience requirements and ability to perform job duties.

Job Site: Newtown, PA
No Travel; no telecommuting; Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the United States which may require relocation at the end of the project.
