Job Description:
We are seeking a part-time farm hand to join our team and assist with the daily operations of our farm.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the care of our goats, as well as various farm and home maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
Care for goats, including feeding, watering, grooming, and general health monitoring.
Perform general stall cleaning and maintenance.
Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with purchasing as needed.
Coordinate weekly food pickups for the goats.
Schedule and coordinate vet visits for routine check-ups and medical needs.
Perform general home maintenance tasks as required.
Assist with routine pool maintenance.
Take care of property maintenance as needed.
Set up and clean up for farm events as required.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with animals, preferably goats, is a plus.
Ability to work weekends, as needed.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
Reliable transportation to and from the farm.
Schedule:
Part-time- 8am-12pm Monday through Friday with some weekend work needed.
