Summary:
Perform a variety of duties to ensure each production job is checked, sorted, inserted, the proper postal is applied for accuracy and prepare the job for postal delivery.
Responsibilities:
Carefully reviews work order accompanying each order to ensure all information is correct.
Quality check each job Prepare permit sheet for post office Separates work and delivers to appropriate production departments Weighs and measures inserts for manifest purposes Maintains Outlook (or other similar program) for the purpose of tracking insert run times, Maintains and updates insert storage area with current inserts.
Verify data forms, outside envelope, BRE and inserts by spot checking finished mail pieces Brings repetitive quality control-related problems to the attention of supervisor or other appropriate members of management.
Makes recommendations for improved processes to management.
Communicate, as needed, with other departments, obtaining and relaying pertinent information about job specifications and status.
Maintain all logs/records pertaining to QC in an organized and easily accessible system.
Keep certificate up-to-date for scale.
Run mail machines Maintain Postage-by-Phone accounts by regularly filling the meters as needed Maintain up to date meter machine maintenance request logs for all machine issues Prepare and return to clients any holds or special requests in a timely manner Other duties may be assigned Requirements:
(GED)Minimum of 1-year prior job-related experience is required.
Position requires high school diploma or general education degree Requires high degree of attention to detail, and ability to work both quickly and accurately.
