Position:
Production Manager Hard working, detail oriented, passionate, efficient, creative, and looking to pursue a long term career in the Nursery trade Physically able to lift and carry 60 lbs.
Proficient knowledge of plants, especially native plants.
Experience growing plants and at least 3 years in the nursery industry Able to direct and supervise staff and manage daily tasks Willing to work according to the seasonal needs of the company.
Longer hours in Spring and Fall with downtime in the Summer and Winter Tasks include Managing the production schedule and the production team.
Transplanting and moving plants as needed.
Maintenance of plants including watering, fertilizing, weeding and pruning as needed.
Regular maintenance of the nursery infrastructure such as irrigation, buildings, greenhouses, etc Propagation Job Type:
